ECOaurora glowlight does not need electricity. It recharges automatically in daylight and glows all night long. In clear water it operates even at depths of 1.5 meters / 5 feet. For stronger illumination needs there is AuroraLED linear lighting. LED strip is protected by aluminum housing. It is available for submerged applications as well as for use on ground.
N on-Slippery Surface. Walkway units are covered with cut stone paver blocks or concerete paver blocks. For concrete paver stones preferred ones have small gravel on top. This gives good friction when wet. For natural stones the suggested surface is hammered, chiselled, flamed, or other rough surface. For all stones this applies: light colored stones are more visible than dark ones when submerged. – Paving material is best sourced locally.

M inimal cleaning and maintenace work is needed. In warm waters periodic brushing with a floor brush or a broom will keep the surface non-slippery. More coarse stones are easier to clean than a smooth surface. Waves may deposit debris and it may have to be removed manually.
In subzero temperatures water will freeze. Common floating walkways need to be removed from water to avoid damage by moving ice. Not so with aluWaterWalk. There is no need to pull it ashore each fall and reverse the process each spring. aluWaterWalk is very much unaffected by longitunal ice movement but may suffer from ice movement from either side. Therefore, it should be installed in a location which is minimally affected by massive ice formations from either side.
